How do I transfer my gas and/or electricity supply to ScottishPower?

First, we can take you through a quote which compares what you pay for energy with your current supplier with how much this would cost you with ScottishPower. Next, you'll be given the option to sign up to one of our products. You'll find further information on how you may be able to Switch and Save on our homepage. If you'd prefer to speak to someone, you can call one of our sales advisors on 0800 400 200 (Lines are open Monday to Friday 8am - 7pm and Saturdays 9am - 1pm) (0800 22 44 00 for business customers, Lines are open Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.45pm). We'll contact your current supplier and tell them that you want to transfer your supply to us. Provided there are no objections from them (for example, if you have an outstanding balance), we'll ask you for your meter readings so that we can set up your new ScottishPower account. We'll also send your meter readings to your previous supplier to help them compile a final bill. The whole process of transferring your supply usually takes around 4 to 6 weeks.
