I have just switched to ScottishPower. What happens next?
First of all, thank you for choosing ScottishPower. We'll contact you shortly to confirm receipt of your application.
As soon as your application is accepted, we'll start the registration process. This can take 4 to 6 weeks and is usually made up of four stages: Application: We review your application and check it against the information we receive from your current supplier.
2. Registration: We send a request to your current supplier, so that we can start the transfer process.
3. Billing Set-up: We'll ask you for your Opening Meter Readings so we can set up your new account with us.
4. On Supply: Once your account has been set up, we'll officially welcome you as a new ScottishPower customer. Should your current supplier object to transferring your account will we write to you and let you know.
