I'm on a capped rate tariff. Why have you put my payments up?
With a capped rate tariff, it's the unit price of your energy that is capped. If your consumption goes up, so will your payments. The same applies if your monthly direct debit payments have been set too low in the past. We'd need to increase them to try and ensure they cover your forecasted annual energy use. Rest assured your unit price will not go above the capped unit price for the duration of your deal.
