Do I need to provide a meter reading on the date of the price increase?
No, but providing meter readings at any time helps ensure your bill or statement is as accurate as possible. If we don't have actual meter readings, we will estimate your gas and/or electricity energy use on the day before the price increase and thereafter charge the energy used from 1st August 2011 at the new prices.
The energy used before 1st August 2011 will be charged at the old prices. Any changes to your unit prices will be displayed in your next bill or statement.
