What is the impact of the price increase?
From 1st August 2011, affected customers will notice an average electricity increase of 10%* and an average gas increase of 19%**. However, this will vary depending on where you live and what payment plan you're on.
This means, for an average dual fuel monthly Direct Debit customer their annual bill will increase by an average of £173.60***.

*Based on an average of domestic Standard Rate electricity customers across Britain with annual usage of 3,300kWh, who pay monthly by Direct Debit, quarterly (excluding prompt payer discounts), weekly or use a prepayment meter.
