Can you pay a refund into my bank account?
At present refunds can only be sent by cheque.
Direct debit customers should expect to see a credit/debit on their energy account at certain times. This is due to the fluctuation in energy consumption at different times of the year. Your account is reviewed annually to try and ensure your payments are in line with forecasted consumption.
If you would like to request a refund then we ask that you contact us with accurate and up to date meter readings. A review of your account and monthly payments is necessary when any refund is requested, to try and ensure your payments are on track.
If you would like to know when your next annual review date is, or would like to request a refund outside of your review period, please contact us.
Please note that when requesting a refund, you will need to provide your current meter readings and your direct debit payments may need to be reassessed. The refund should be issued within 14 working days by cheque. We are not currently able to refund payments directly into customer bank accounts.
