Will my Direct Debit reduce now that I have had Solar Panels installed and receive a Feed In Tariff (FIT) from ScottishPower?
Your Electricity account with Scottish Power is separate from your Feed in Tariff account. Although you may start to see a reduction in the electricity you use, to avoid a continuous change in your monthly instalment, we will capture a full 12 months of usage to determine what impact the measures you have taken in your property have had on your instalments. At this stage your Direct Debit would be reviewed and set based on the previous 12 months usage. A video guide as to how Scottish Power calculate your Direct Debit can be found below:

Please not that your Feed In Tariff payments are paid directly into your bank account and will not appear on your ScottishPower utility bill.
