What should I do if I smell gas or suspect a gas leak?
Call the gas emergency service on 0800 111 999. Lines are open 24 hours.
- Open all doors and windows
- Don't use any electrical appliances (including light switches) or naked flames
- Turn off the gas supply at the emergency control valve by the meter. It is off when the ridged line on the spindle is across the pipe.
